If any of you are like me and have a standard metal frame pre-fab shop then these will be a huge help!
When I was building out my shop space, running 2x4s horizontally and joining them to the vertical steel 2x2 square uprights proved a bit of a task. I have used a variety of ways and flat plate/bar but ultimately over time and mounting weight on whatever I am hanging off the wood the brackets would begin to bend or shift.
I came up with this design similar to 2x4 Fence Ties but this way you can cut your 2x4 to length, slide these on the ends, screw them on, then throw your board between your verticals and bolt them in!
It opens up a great deal of storage and organization in the shop space!
These are made from 16 gauge Steel and come as a pair!
